AMFE stands for Automatic Miniature Fire Extinguisher. The big advantage is the fire detection and simultaneous extinguishing directly at the place of origin. This effectively prevents the fire from spreading. The AMFE enables real device-integrated fire protection.

In general, the AMFE also works with control cabinets that are actively ventilated. Normally, the air flow even accelerates the incubation and distribution of the extinguishing medium. The S-AMFE is used for large ventilation or extraction in control cabinets. The ventilation system can be switched off immediately in the event of a trigger using the S feedback contact.

Of course. The R-AMFE can be triggered by using a detector with a signal output (potential-free contact). This enables proactive flooding to take place.

For large volumes of 1,6 m³ or more, we use the R-AMFE in a network, which is triggered by a signaling center, relay control or our special solution multialert®. Alternatively, control cabinets can be separated from one another so that only individual areas are monitored and deleted. According to the guideline, the pressure cylinders have a pressure resistance of >9 years. According to the manufacturer and in accordance with the UL2166 standard, a loss of around 0.25% of the printed filling weight per year after the date of manufacture is considered to be intended. We recommend a visual inspection of the AMFE once a year, as well as checking the filling weight of the extinguishing agent cylinder.
